Colorado Private Investigators learning how to mine the internet for information……..

The Professional Private Investigators Association of Colorado (PPIAC) first training meeting of the year is upon us.  Anyone who is in the investigative business today has seen the need for mining the internet for information. As of January 2013, the five largest social networks based on active monthly users were: Facebook (1 billion), YouTube (800 million) and Google+ (343 million) followed by Twitter and LinkedIn with 200 million active monthly users.  Join us for a how to find information on social media.

 Our instructor is Mike Bosick, and he is an Enterprise Sales Executive with SMI, a social media screening company,  SMI provides software that automates social media background investigations removing 70-80% of the labor required to investigate an individual or company’s social media and internet profile.  Mike’s current clients include private investigators, law firms, insurance companies, financial institutions, and consumer reporting agencies.  His prior experience includes nine years as a law firm consultant for Thomson Reuters in Saint Paul, Minnesota.  He currently resides in Denver with his wife and two kids.  He can be contacted at
